For discerning travelers who seek comfort, flexibility, and a deeper connection to the places they visit, Private China Tours with exclusive services offer the ideal ways to explore this fascinating country.

Itinerary tailored entirely on your own terms

A private tour of China is not just a vacation, it’s a curated experience tailored entirely to your interests, pace, and preferences. Whether you want to stand in awe before the Great Wall at sunrise, explore the Terracotta Warriors with less crowds, or cruise along the Li River amid stunning karst peaks, a private tour makes it possible and comfortable. With a licensed professional guide and a personal driver at your service, you’ll avoid the hassles of group travel while gaining insider access to off-the-beaten-path places and local experiences. An obvious advantage of exclusive private China tours is personalized itinerary planning. From the moment you inquire, a dedicated travel specialist (CET’s Travel Consultant) works with you to design a trip that reflects your tastes. Love ancient history? Your itinerary might include extended stays in Beijing, Xi’an, Luoyang and Shanxi. Prefer natural landscapes? Guilin and Zhangjiajie would be scheduled. Favor modern urban life mixed with luxury shopping and gourmet food? Shanghai and Chengdu will shine on your custom map. With private tours, you’re never locked into a standard plan, your trip evolves around you.

Meet the needs of most types of travelers

Private China tours are also available in different styles to meet the needs of most types of travelers. Meanwhile, photography lovers can opt for China photography tours, guided by local photo experts to capture the perfect light over rice terraces, ancient towns, and iconic cultural landmarks.

Comfort/luxury and seamless service

Another key benefit is luxury and comfort. Travel between cities is seamless, whether by private car/van, high-speed train, or short domestic flights arranged for your convenience. Every detail is handled, from luggage transfers to VIP airport meet-and-greet services.

Unique experiences

But what truly sets exclusive private tours apart is the access to unique experiences. These are the kinds of unforgettable moments that turn a good trip into a transformative one. Private guides, often handpicked for their deep knowledge and warm personalities, provide cultural context that enriches every stop.

We took a 13 days / 12 nights tour of Beijing, Xian, Guilin and Shanghai with this company. We liked a lot. Everything worked perfectly. Our guides in every city were very professional and provided us with all the information and support we need. Mrs Tang, our contact, has always been cordial, helpful and competent. We really enjoyed and recommend this tour of China.

We had a really good day, and enjoyed the tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. For me, the best part of the day was actually when we took a open sided car and drove around the countryside around Yangshou. It might be worth incorporating this into the tour? My only negative feedback was the food on the boat wasn’t great, although I know that your company don’t manage the boat directly.  I don’t know if there are any boats that don’t have food, as it might be worth not eating, and letting people eat in the town when they arrive?

Anyway, in general the day was great. We all really enjoyed it.

Thanks,

Nick

Dear Jessica,

My friend and I had a wonderful time trip in China. We were impressed with the quality of the hotels and food, and the knowledge of local tour guides. We learned so much about Chinese history and culture! Your guides were so patient and helpful in answering our questions and accommodating our special requests.

Our only suggestion would be to allow more free time in each of the cities like relaxing at a cafe to enjoy the atmosphere or strollin in the city street. On the other hand, there is so much to see, so we were glad that the itinerary was full.

We have already recommended your company to some of our friends. Your well-run service is worth of it.Thanks again for the wonderful experience.

Best regards,

J.Marine

This tour was very pleasant. Everything was well arranged by China Expedition Tour. We enjoyed our time with the driver and the guide. The latter was quite professional and informative, flexible enough to adjust the pal according to our additional and practical requirements. We learned many about Chinese history and got more interested in this emerging nation. I think I may go to China again and I will surely use your service.

We finally have some free time on our last night in China to thank you for so much. It is with a mixture of joy and sadness that we come to the end of our journey to China. We have become more than just business partners putting together an itinerary for a trip; we've become friends.

Our first thank you is for the wonderful dinner we had at your place last week. It was one of the highlights of a trip that had so many. We enjoyed the food, meeting Heather, taking a walk around your neighborhood, and having the opportunity to "catch up" on things.

We also want to thank you for the hard work you put in making the arrangements for us, especially the accommodations for Miriam--the motorized chair (which was a godsend), the walk-in showers in each hotel, easy access to the many sites we saw, including the Great Wall.

All of the guides--David, Richard, Alex and David, and Stacy--were all great. They were all excellent and in a few days we became very comfortable with each one. It was sad to part ways with them. Alex and David said they want to visit us in Florida.

Also, all of the drivers were outstanding, though we'll never get used to how the cars and motorcycle weave in and out of traffic.

Finally: this is not good bye. On occasion we will write to you, not on business, but on a personal note.

Be well, enjoy living in such a wonderful country. Our fondest wish is for our governments and people to learn to live together in peace and friendship.

Yours always,

David and Miriam
