Guangming Oversea Chinese Livestock Farm

Covering a total area of 55 square kilometers, Guangming Livestock Farm lies in the northwest of Shenzhen, 30 minutes' driving distance to downtown area. The farm possesses mountain forests of 31 square meters and fruit gardens of over 10,000mu. The forest coverage of the farm reaches 70%. Within the farm, there are 7 reservoirs of different sizes and in various shapes and many fishponds. As discovering nature and returning to nature are the trends of modern tourism, groups of tourists from Hong Kong and Macau, and other places, come to visit the farm to taste sucking-pigeons, drink pure milk, eat fresh fruits and enjoy the views of herds of cows and groups of pigeons. The tourist development plan of the farm has been put in the list of Guidelines of the Fifth five-year Plan and 2010 Blueprint of the Tourist Development in Shenzhen.
