Yuanshan Mountain Scenic Area

 
Yuanshan Mountian Scenic Area lies to the east of the highway from Henggang to Yantian Port. It is one of the important components of Dapeng Bay Scenic Area. The scenic area covers a total area of 1,000 hectares, and ranges of the Wutong Mountain and the Meihua (plum) Cliff in the southwest constitute the screen of the scenic area. Surrounded by mountains, the area has green trees, brooks, singing birds and lovely flowers. It is cool in summer and warm in winter. It is definitely the best place of summer resort. Streams run briskly all year round. The natural waterfalls and cliffs are just fascinating. Stretching mountains are covered with trees and grass. Taking a bird's-eye-view at the highest peak, one can find Yantian Sea and Hong Kong Chuanwan Park. The Wenhuayangsheng (Life Preservation by Culture) Garden, 60,000 square meters in area, the 200-mu Flower Garden and the 250-mu Fruit Garden are completed and visitors can get more fun here.
