Getting There

The main transportation here is by air or by road. No railway is available.

By Air
The airport is 12 km south of downtown Hotan. There is a flight from and to Urumqi every Wed, Fri and Sunday. The price is about RMB 1,000. For more information, please contact 0903-2026724. 

By Long Distance Bus
There are daily buses to and from Yecheng, Shache, Yengisar, Kashgar and Urumqi. For more information, please contact 0903-2022688.

Getting Around

Since Hotan situated in a big dry desert, most of the places of interesting are in desert. The most convenient way to travel is to rent a car. You’d better rent a jeep to ensure you have a favoring trip.
